When looking for a place to shoot Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, or LOST – Hollywood would have been empty-handed if it was left to the mainland. Nowhere in the continental U.S. can you get such breathtaking shots of rainforests, cliffs, and beaches.

Fortunately for Hollywood the 50th state to join was Hawaii. With this addition the film industry received a jewel – Kauai. Films like Jurassic Park and many more were shot on the island. If Hollywood benefits so handsomely from such a place, shouldn’t you? Why not shoot your own personalized feature film? Well – now you can…

The Villas at Poipu Kai is offering a free Flip Video Camera for all bookings made before April 30*.

Located on the south side of Kauai – The Villas at Poipu Kai is one of the newest boutique resorts on the island.

The Villas is an ideal home base for your stay in Kauai, only a five minute walk from Poipu Beach, the Villas are the perfect vacation rentals.

You can film your friends playing in the pool, swinging a 9-iron, or taking sunset hike. The resort offers 3 to 4 bedroom accommodations for your entire group. Nicely furnished living areas and kitchens make the trip affordable and relaxing.

Book before April 30 and start making Hollywood nervous!

* Offer limited to one camera per six (6) night reservation or two cameras per twelve (12) or more nights.  Offer valid on new reservations made before April 30th, for travel anytime before November 15th.

I’ve just finished researching a trip to Honolulu, we were planning a family trip but alas, the airfare was too steep. My uncle has a condo there so we didn’t need to worry about a place to stay. Hawaii is an expensive U.S. destination but the hotel sounds heavenly.

Even in this economic climate air prices still don’t accomodate travellers wallets and budgets, unless you go with Spirit. Hawaii does sound heavenly though.
